DH34 vs Velocita review

In this entry we are going to compare and review Michelin DH34 vs Maxxis Velocita tyres. Both manufactured by different brands, Michelin and Maxxis respectively, these tyres have been designed to be used for different purposes. Whilst Michelin DH34 is better for mtb activities, Maxxis Velocita is a great choice if your needs are more aligned to gravel and hybrid activities.

Its DH 34 tread pattern, Magi-X DH tread compound and Down Hill Shield casing provide maximum grip and high-speed stability on all hard terrain (compacted dirt / pebbles / Bike Park). Thanks to its double-reinforced Down Hill Shield casing and puncture-resistant reinforcement, which gives you maximum control at low pressure.	The Velocita features a knurled center tread and transitions to a file tread along the edges for confidence in the corners. Ideal for riders who want a high-volume, lightweight slick for their gravel or all-road bike.

Technologies -	Technologies EXO An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tire remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high. SilkShield SilkShield offers protection from bead to bead whereas Silkworm is found under the tread only. SilkShield provides an additional level of protection for sidewalls as well as under the tread. Tubeless Ready Tubeless tires provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tire; and less chance of flatting because there is no tube. Liquid sealants should only be used in the following types of tires: tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready. The use of liquid sealants in any other Maxxis tire will void the warranty.
