In this entry we are going to compare and review Continental CONTACT Cruiser vs Maxxis MaxxDaddy tyres. Both manufactured by different brands, Continental and Maxxis respectively, these tyres have been designed to be used for different purposes. Whilst Continental CONTACT Cruiser is better for Urban/Tour activities, Maxxis MaxxDaddy is a great choice if your needs are more aligned to bmx activities.

Voluminous lifestyle tire featuring high comfort for a high performance especially on tarmac. A fabric breaker provides light-rolling puncture protection.Available in different colors and dimensions.

Staggered, tightly spaced center lugs provide controllable speeds. The knob spacing increases near the shoulder lugs to produce two channels that hook up on hardpack berms to loose dirt on the trails.

For our E-Bike tire we fall back on over 100 years‘ experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All of our city/trekking tires are rated to a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Those tires marked e50 are also certified for S-Pedelecs. With their high quality structure, puncture protection is high and the rolling resistance is low offering protection from premature wear brought about by the additional driving force.
SafetySystem Breaker
Puncture protection with a system
The SafetySystem Breaker is made up of Kevlarreinforced, high-strength nylon fabric. Puncture and cut-resistant but nevertheless light and flexible, the tire adjusts quickly to the surface below. Without raising the weight or rolling resistance noticeably, it protects the carcass against foreign objects and contributes to a longer lifespan of the tire. Tires with the SafetySystem Breaker also provide good comfort properties.
