Cleats are a vitally important part of the clipless pedal setup. You need to know with absolute certainty that your cleats are going to fit into your pedals and stay fixed in place for the duration of your ride (except at junctions!), and that’s what you get with the XLC Cleatset PD-X047. The XLC Cleatset PD-X047 is suitable for XLC system pedals and is also compatible with the Look Keo system, one of the most popular clipless pedal setups in the sport (used by lots of your favourite pro riders). With this set, you get one pair of plates (in grey) that have a 9° float, which means that once bolted to your shoe and clipped into the pedal, you’ll be able to twist your foot 9° without it coming free. This degree of float reduces the risk of injury and gives you a bit of wiggle room. show less | The XLC Road System Pedal PD-S13 is a one-sided clipless pedal compatible with Look Keo cleats. The pedal system is adjustable so you can decide how easy or difficult you want it to be to clip in and out. Constructed with an aluminium body, these pedals will last no matter how much power you put through them. A sturdy yet lightweight construction means you can hammer them pretty hard when you need to, but won’t end up paying a hefty weight penalty when the road turns upwards. XLC have used a CroMo axle, and a CNC-machined sealed sliding cartridge bearing for ultimate smoothness in your pedal stroke. Sealing the bearing means it won’t be at risk from mud and water ingress, which in turn would strip the grease from the bearing, significantly reducing the lifespan of the pedal. The PD-S13 road pedals are compatible with Look Keo cleat systems. Inside the box is a set of cleats with six degrees of float. show less |
